Lava Stone – Colorful, relaxing, ceramics
As a beautiful, colorful, volcanic stone, the LAVA collection has no pair. The origins of this stone start at the core of the Earth: as magma rises through its layers, suffering through intense pressure and temperatures, it finally reaches the surface. When this semi-fluid rock reaches the surface, it transforms into lava. Then it solidifies, creating a solid, porous, incredible rock. This is what we call lava stone.
This glazed stone is usually associated with feelings of relaxation and dissipation of anger. This makes it a great surfacing material for kitchen countertops, bathrooms, gardens, and other places associated with winding down after a stressful day.
The Lava design is a fusion between traditional Portuguese ceramics and the history of the Earth itself. This tradition uses colorful glazed tones, related to Portugal’s innovative ceramic landscape. As we use these tones, we’re able to create different stones for different moods, using them as a basis for a perfect interior ambient. This way, anyone can choose an ambient for their project, whether it’s a 5-star hotel or a small bathroom.
Every color is available. These stones create an effect that is enhanced by the color you choose: you can have a vibrant gold-like color or a calming watery blue.
